Abstract submission process
Call for abstract will definitely close on March 15th, 2016.
The Scientific Committee now starts reviewing all submitted abstracts. At the end of March 2016 all authors will be notified by e.mail about the decision by the Scientific Committee to accept or reject submitted abstracts.
ECPP Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject or alter abstracts based on, but not limited to, the following criteria:
- Abstract do not comply with the guideline, including excessive length (contributed abstract body text is limited to 3000 characters including spaces)
- Abstract contain inappropriate content
- Abstract fall outside the topic scope of the meeting

Session Types
Keynotes => 45 Minutes
13 Keynote Speakers will present papers on the congress’ main topics.
Invited Symposia => 90 minutes
Main symposia particularly reflect the congress’ main topics under the chair.
Key Symposia => 90 minutes
Complete symposia open for submission.
Each symposia will contain 3 communications under a chairman which will expand on and develop the congress’ main themes and topics in a special way.
Paper Sessions => 60 minutes
Oral communications of 15 minutes open for submission.
Paper Sessions will regroup papers on the congress’ main topics.
PreWorkshop => 150 minutes
In this format, experts will take time for a complete working session around a topic.
Workshops => 60 minutes
Oral communication open for submission.
In this format, experts gives a talk and propose practical exercices. Afterwards questions can be addressed and discussed by the audience.
Tips to speed-up your Abstract Submission for Poster and Oral presentation
- Prepare a draft of the abstract body
- Know the number and order of authors and collaborators
- Prepare your keywords
- Prepare your references
Information regarding abstract submission
Please note that all attendees are required to pay the congress fees. Chairpersons, speaker and poster presentation are not in any way exempt from the payment of the congress fees.
Also note that one person can submit several abstracts or type of abstract, alone or with some co-authors and on several differents topics or themes. Besides, all kind of researchers in Positive Psychology can submit an abstract, even non-graduate students.
Information for Speakers
A laptop and a videoprojector (beamer) are available in every lecture hall.
Please check-in at the media center at least one hour before your talk. Your presentation data will be uploaded on the congress server and will be relayed to your lecture hall.
For organizational and technical reasons, it is not possible to play back your presentation in the lecture hall from your own laptop or an USB disk.
Notification of acceptance
All submissions are subject to peer review by the ECPP Scientific Committee. The ECPP Organising Committee is the final decision maker on all abstract submissions. Notifications of acceptance will be sent via e-mail to the corresponding author before March 31th 2016.
Please note: all authors of accepted abstracts are expected to register and pay for the Congress before May 1st, 2016 to ensure their abstract is included in the final scientific program.
